    True Christianity 1 John 1:1-10
    Series: 1 John
This week, we begin a new series on 1 John, when the young church was going through it’s earliest generation of growth and struggles   We, too, go through the same struggles trying to understand God and live a life in this corrupt world.  Even so, faith must be present.  In the first of this series, Pastor Dwayne Dasher presents the truths that John pointed out to reinforce the foundation of our Christian faith.

    Psalms Part 1: Psalm 19
Today Pastor Dwayne begins his study in Psalms.
He makes reference to a video by Louie Giglio that's accessible via YouTube.
    The link is below.

I would recommend watching the video first, then listening to the message.
Prepare to be awestruck by how great our God really is.

Our Hope Lies in the Resurrection 1 Corinthians 15:12-34
If not for the resurrection, our faith would be worthless.
The empty grave is what sets Christianity apart from all other beliefs.
Many have tried to contest it's authenticity, but time after time,
testimony after testimony, proof after proof, the truth holds.
Pastor Dwayne Dasher expounds on Paul's battles of trying to
prove the validity of the resurrection and it's effects on us today.

    Goodbye, 2017.

But was it a good 2017?
Can any of us honestly say in clear conscious that we did the best we could this last year?
Using Paul as an example, Pastor Dwayne Dasher shows how being consistent in striving for
Jesus and His example is what will determine whether 2018 will be a better year.

    The Three Gifts Matthew 2:1-14
    Series: (All)
We've all heard the Christmas story.  We can envision it the manger scene clearly in our mind.  But what about the men from the east?  Though there weren't specific details about who came, their gifts were described with precision.   These outsiders of the Jewish faith saw evidence that caused them to come from afar and bring gifts to the God-man they didn't know or understand.  The gifts were their absolute best.  We, too, are outsiders of the faith trying to make a connection with the God-man, Jesus.  Are the gifts that we bring to the table our absolute best?  Pastor Dwayne Dasher challenges us to always bring our best, no matter what.

Questions and Answers about the Resurrection 1Corinthians 15:1-11
As we enter into the Christmas season, Pastor Dwayne Dasher reminds us that the purpose of Christmas is to point to Easter.  Without the birth of Jesus fulfilling so many prophecies, we wouldn't have a validated Savior.  Once we have a witnessed risen Savior, it solidifies the testimonies of His birth.  No matter how you look at it, Jesus truly fulfills the word.

God’s Greatest Gift To His Church 1 Corinthians 13
Love should be at the forefront of everything we do.
But when we can’t stand people, it really puts a damper on our plans, let alone God’s plans.
But what if we go through the motions, wouldn’t that suffice?  Nope.
God is love, and He wants us to love like He does.
Pastor Dwayne Dasher dissects 1 Corinthians 13 and shows us what Paul was trying to convey
to this young church:  As God loves, we also should love others and serve with sincerity.

God crafts us individually with unique gifts and passions.
We are so very different, yet we all come together under the banner of Jesus as one body to praise God.  He intentionally made us different as to compensate the weakness of another.  And in turn, their strength compensates our weaknesses. As we approach the holiday season and prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior, we look internally and find what makes us “us” and celebrate our differences as we unify as believers of Christ.
