3 John: God’s Truth in Your Life
    Series: (All)
Don’t let this short book fool ya.  This letter from John to Gaius is in the Bible for a reason.  John shares his love for the new believer, commends him on actions seen by others, and condemns the selfishness of others.  Though this is the shortest book in the Bible, it’s powerful in it’s context of how we should always reflect the love of God in all of our actions, whether seen or not.  When we are honestly following Jesus, His truth shows clearly through us where it makes more of an impact than speaking.

Being Born of God 1 John 5:1-21
    Series: 1 John
In the final installment of 1 John, Pastor Dwayne Dasher paints the picture of what life is like to be born of God; reminding us that what we may be now is not the person, the family, nor the church that God has in mind.  We need to wrap our minds around the vision of what God has in store for us rather than dwelling in mediocrity and accepting that as the norm.  God has put too much into motion for us for us to be the hinderance of His blessings.

    The Gospel of John
Though everyone sees Jesus in a different light, John sees Him as the Son of God immediately drawing from Genesis illustrating His divinity.  You can see this clearly in John 1.  But we also see the transformation John goes through from being one of the "Sons of Thunder" to "The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved".  Once people were face to face with Jesus, their lives were changed.  Pastor Dwayne Dasher shows us the transformation John went through in the fourth Gospel.

Church At Its Best John 14:6
    Series: 1 John
This week, Pastor Dwayne Dasher pulls away from the 1 John series to bring talk about "the why" of our church.  Too many times we find ourselves swimming in the seas of life with all it's ups and downs looking around asking, "What's the point?"  Pulling from John 14:6, we see that the point really has nothing to do with us at all, but rather to point others towards God, His love, His Son Jesus, and a personal relationship with Him.

    Through Love 1 John 4:7-21
    Series: 1 John
To say that we know God and continue to live our lives the same as before meeting Him would be telling a lie.
You can't stand in the presence of a holy God and remain the same.  He will change you eternally if you allow Him.
In this sermon, Pastor Dwayne Dasher continues the study on 1 John and shows us literally how we are changed by knowing, receiving, and giving the love of God.

Love: Get it and Give it 1 John 3:10-23
    Series: 1 John
Love is a funny thing when you look at it from the world's perspective.  But what brings true, unfaltering love to reality is the way Jesus lived it: selflessly.  When you put on the love of Christ and truly live it, you get a little more than you bargain for.  Yes, it'll make a positive change in your life, but it's not always accepted as you'd hope.  In this week's message, Pastor Dwayne Dasher elaborates on what John was teaching to the young church:  unselfish love for all is a real game changer, so don't be surprised if it's not welcomed.

Right With God 1 John 2:28-3:9
    Series: 1 John

When it comes to being right with God, where do you stand?
Are you for Him, or against Him?  Do you fully devote your life to Him or are you going through the motions?  Do you just attend church or are you immersed in His goodness?  Pastor Dwayne Dasher takes 1 John and puts us in a place of self examination, and points us in the direction of God's desire for our lives:  To be in intimate communion with Him at all times.

    Watch Out! 1 John 2:18-27
    Series: 1 John
It's amazing to sit back and look and see what actually influences our thoughts.  Some turn to TV personalities, others scroll through social media, some lean towards friends that they believe have a better understanding on life's predicaments.  But the real truth that stands through thick and thin is Jesus.   In this letter from John to the young church, Pastor Dwayne Dasher points out that the church should not lean on any other source of information, but only Jesus himself and the truth of His word.

Worship Leader, Bill Morris, brings the story of the temptation of Jesus in a way that opens the eyes to more that just what the words portray, but shows us what lies beneath the surface.  Through this illustration we can see that Satan was after more than just trying to temp Jesus.
